The Department of Environmental Toxicology held a ceremony today to honor the memories of two distinguished members of our faculty -- Professor Fumio Matsumura and Dr. George Alexeeff. The families of these faculty generously established endowments, which allow us to make awards for research project ideas to two of our excellent graduate students each year. The winner of the 2020 Matsumura Memorial Fellowship is Ryan Farley, who is a Ph.D. candidate in Ag-Chem. The winner of the 2020 Alexeeff Memorial Fellowship is Lo-Wei Lin, who is a Ph.D. candidate in PTX.
