The UC Davis Office of Planned Giving welcomes Timothy J. Watson, J.D. '01, and Karina "Cookie" Desai, J.D. '24, for practical guidance on creating an estate plan and maximizing the impact of your charitable giving.

Watson and Desai take turns covering assets, beneficiary designations, state and federal benefits and the probate process. Diving deeper, Watson goes on to explain common misconceptions with a living trust and how a last will and testament affects your legacy. Watson and Desai wrap up with charitable planning where Case jumps in to answer how it works at UC Davis.
